Joel Calvillo’s transition into commercial real estate began in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Having run a successful business in refurbished networking equipment, Joel saw an opportunity to pivot into real estate during one of the most challenging economic downturns. He started with a boutique brokerage focused on multifamily sales, quickly rising as a top-producing agent thanks to his work ethic, adaptability, and strategic mindset.



By 2013, Joel was recruited to lead the commercial division at Keller Williams Los Gatos, supporting over 300 residential agents and serving a growing base of commercial clients. His experience spans multifamily, light industrial, office, and retail properties, as well as land assemblages and redevelopment. Joel’s passion lies not just in closing deals—but in helping clients achieve financial independence and peace of mind through thoughtful portfolio planning and expert guidance.
